Meet the Team
Maggie Curtis PT, DPT
Maggie received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2017. During her time at Northeastern she worked at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and did clinical rotations at various outpatient orthopedic clinics. It was during this time that Maggie developed a passion for working with the orthopedic population. After graduation, Maggie pursued further education through Herman and Wallace to become a pelvic health physical therapist. She took classes focused on pregnancy, postpartum and pelvic pain. Maggie has also taken classes through the Institute for Clinical Excellence learning about current research and exercise recommendations for older adults.
Maggie has experience working with many different patient populations including; sports, pelvic health and orthopedic injuries. Maggie believes in a whole body approach to treating injuries with an emphasis on customized treatment plans created for each person she is working with.
Additionally, Maggie has led fitness classes for middle school and high school athletes as well as for pregnant and postpartum women. She has also taught educational classes at senior centers focusing on a variety of topics including lower back pain and knee pain.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family, doing ballet and going to the gym.
